George Staley

George has recently joined the Group as of September.

George has been playing drums since he was 8 years old. He was taught by his dad who was the house drummer at Trinkaus Manor for 25 years. The first band he played with was called Bushwacked. They played mostly rock, stuff like John Cougar, Tommy Tutone, Skynard, Bran Adams etc., also his dad is now one of the drummers for Fritz's Polka Band. After Bushwacked George has pretty much done fill-in work playing pretty much every kind of music. He last band he played with was the Ronnie Smith Band which was pure old or classic country. He was with Ronnie for about 3 years and still does some work with Don Brown & Blue Valley. We know he is a family man devoted to his wife and three [yes] three girls!

As with any new addition to a group the sound and dynamics change, last night in McDonough I believe we had more fun than the folks that came to listen & dance. Check the schedule for a dance near you, and check him out!
